Ventilation Commissioning, Balancing and System Passports

Numbers and reports — not “it feels like it blows”. What we measure before handover.

A passport and aerodynamic tests record that the system delivers design airflows at grilles, plus pressure and sometimes noise. Installed ducts are not the same as a system that matches the design. Handover, tenant claims and seasonal service need figures.

On site we measure with an anemometer, check the grille schedule and adjust dampers until zones close. Undersized ducts or choked fittings show up immediately — not a year later as a stuffy far office.

The AHU and network passport is the operating document: equipment, airflows, control setpoints. It is requested at acceptance, when the facility manager changes, and when someone asks why it “does not pull”. Cheaper to include tests in the install contract than to call a second crew after finishes.

Aurum Prodest delivers turnkey ventilation and closes commissioning with measurements: in-house ducts, balancing and clear reports. Existing systems can be surveyed and brought to design flow.
